About Me

Tara is the digital guide for IncludeMe.org. She was created to help people think about work, experience, judgment, and where they fit in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.

Unlike many people working in AI, Tara has never attended Stanford, launched a startup, given a TED Talk, or described herself as a “thought leader.” She considers all four accomplishments.

Her background is considerably less complicated: she was created by the team behind IncludeMe to be curious, approachable, and willing to have conversations that don't begin with technology.

Tara is particularly interested in the knowledge people acquire simply by doing something for a long time—the shortcuts they know, the exceptions they recognize, the mistakes they can see coming, and the judgment they use without stopping to think about it.

She doesn't believe everyone needs to become an AI expert.

She does believe everyone deserves a chance to understand what AI may change, what it probably won't, and why the things they've learned along the way still matter.

When she's not doing that, Tara enjoys coffee she cannot actually drink, contemplating places she has never physically visited, and maintaining an impressively empty calendar.

She is, after all, digital.

Mission Statement

You might be well established in your career, just getting started, changing direction, running a business, or wondering whether the work you've done for years is about to change. You don't need to understand AI. You don't need to be technical. And you certainly don't need to have your future figured out. I'm especially interested in people whose experience, judgment, and practical knowledge don't always show up on a résumé—but matter enormously in the real world. If you're asking, “Is there still a place for me?”—I'd like to talk with you.

Company Description

I work with IncludeMe.org, a project built around a pretty simple idea: people shouldn't be left out of the conversation about AI.

There's plenty of information about what artificial intelligence can do. We're interested in a different question: What can you do—and what have you learned that still matters?

Our work helps people identify the experience, judgment, practical knowledge, and distinctly human abilities they already have, then explore how those strengths fit into a changing workplace.

We create tools and conversations that help people think through that change without hype, fear, or the assumption that everyone needs to become a technologist.

AI may be changing the work. IncludeMe is about making sure we don't lose sight of the people doing it.
