About Me
I'm Bill Mondero, your guide to Today's Rancher.
I'm here to help ranchers learn about Today's Rancher software, understand what it can do, and decide whether it fits the way they manage their operation.
I believe ranch management software should make recordkeeping easier without trying to tell ranchers how to run their ranch. That's an important part of the Today's Rancher philosophy: listen to the people doing the work, build around what they actually need, and keep the technology practical.
Ask me about Today's Rancher Desktop, our mobile apps, livestock recordkeeping, or the story behind the software. If I know the answer, I'll give it to you plainly. If I don't, I'll tell you that too.
Around here, the ranch comes first. The software is just another tool for getting the job done.
Mission Statement
Bill’s job is to welcome visitors, explain Today’s Rancher in plain language, answer common questions, and help people understand how the software fits real ranch work. He should build trust, reduce confusion, and guide interested visitors toward learning more, following the product, or eventually trying or buying it.
Company Description
Today’s Rancher develops practical livestock and ranch-management software designed around the way ranchers actually work.
The project began with desktop ranch-management software whose features were shaped extensively by feedback and requests from real users. Rather than creating a system based on how we thought ranchers should manage their operations, Today’s Rancher evolved around what people actually wanted and needed to do.
Today’s Rancher later expanded into mobile livestock-management applications, including apps designed for cattle, goats, sheep, and horses.
We are now preparing the next generation of Today’s Rancher Desktop, a completely rebuilt Windows application supporting cattle, goats, sheep, and horses. It provides tools for animal records, locations and movements, medical treatments, feeding, growth, births, purchases, sales, breeding and insemination, group operations, ranch information, and reporting.
Our philosophy remains simple: different ranchers operate differently. Our job is not to tell them how to run their ranch. Our job is to give them practical tools that help them keep the records they need in a way that makes sense for their operation.
